BPI-Safe Rides Policy for Drinking Establishments

We provide priority service to any tavern requesting transport of a potentially impaired driver and their vehicle upon request during most major holidays and certain special events, e.g. Super Bowl Sunday. Dates and hours of operation* for each occasion are posted on the home page of this site.

Please call (770) 533-1103 (mobile) or (770) 965-2870 (office) and speak with Vivienne Long-Speer to arrange transport for an impaired patron. Do not email us if your request for pick-up is immediate.

This service is confidential, anonymous, and private. Our objective is to get your patrons home safe & sound – no questions asked.

Provide your name, the name and address of your establishment, and the call-back number. Our drivers will arrive in 30 minutes or less, if possible. Please keep in mind that pick-up and drop-off locations of patrons scheduled prior to yours can cause delays. Also note that we must confirm vehicle ownership, proof of valid insurance, and residential address before we can transport your patron and his/her vehicle.

We transport the impaired vehicle owner and his/her guests in the owner's car to his/her home of record, as long as it is within Hall County. The home of record must be a personal residence or public lodging facility only. All patrons must wear seat belts at all times. There are no exceptions to this policy. We escort your patron to their door and hand them the keys to their vehicle.
